Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year. The biblical name for this holiday is Yom Teruah, which means “day of shouting or blasting”. Rosh Hashanah is the first of the Jewish High Holy Days specified by Leviticus 23:23–32 that occur in the early autumn of the Northern Hemisphere. A time for prayers in the synagogue and for personal reflection. The loud, repetitive sound of the shofar can be heard on both mornings of the holiday at the synagogue. The celebration continues with sweet edibles such as honey, apples, and pomegranates and spending time with family and friends.
Harriet Ainbinder –
I ordered Rosh Hashana cards. They came promptly and are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The owner thought to call me before printing them to get further information about the printing, which she did not have to do and really relieved my mind. I would always order from Invitations4less.
